What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky. My wife has stated yhat she woild be willing to negotiate the child support amount. If we submit a marriage settlement agreement wiyh a lesser amount that what the state recommend how likely is a judge to honor our agreement?

As long as the two of you agree to it, the judge will usually accept it. However, you do realize that if Wife wants to revisit child support in a few years that she will have that ability. CS is not set in stone with the first order.
