What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

My ex-spouse for some shady/greedy reason contacted the child support office and want review/reassessment our child support order. My son is now 15, I have been paying her last 13 years and all payment is up to date and on time.

My pay is still pretty much the same, just a slight increase due to a lousy boss, but the job does pay my bills. I remarried when my son was 5 years old and now have 2 other children 9 and 6 years old with my current spouse. The original order was never modified and did not include my new family because I never wanted to change it thinking it would benefit my first son the most.

My ex-spouse move out of California to Florida 4 years ago. She left my son with grandma and grandfather in California cause he did not really want to go and leaving his friends. She finally remarried some rich guy two years ago, she have a 6 month old child, and now going through divorce last month and moving back to California. For some unknown reason, she probably want to make my life hell again. We have not talked for years and I like to keep it this way, because she always want to start drama and put my son in the middle of it, once again. I have tried several attempt in the past years for her to let my son live with me, but her answer is always no, she rather go to court and fight. I rather not let my son see into more drama in court, so I kept him on holidays and school breaks, more quality times together.

a) Would this reduce the child support order if my kids and new family info is submitted?
b) Is there any other reason you can think of her doing this?
c) Will court consider her rich husband income?
d) She always claim zero income last 13 years, I really doubt it, she got Mercedes, BMW, expensive jewlery, and living the life and several jobs on Linkle post, will child support office investigate her and get the truth?

Not knowing the law and wonder what would happen to my case or reassessment? Thanks for reading.

After 13 years, it is not unusual to have CS reviewed. Your new family is generally irrelevant, as is her new husband. If you chose not to pursue custody of your son w/her, then that is on you and you alone. Your support payment may go up, it may go down, or it may stay the same.
