I am a recently remarried father of a six year old little girl.. Her mother and I do not have a primary custodial parent and each get her 6 months out of a year (we both live in the same town). Even though we have her the exact same amount of time, I am still paying child support. Now her mother is wanting to take me back to court for full custody because she has a vengeance against me. I am an upstanding citizen, work in a professional field, and try the best I can for my daughter. What are my options?

Most courts encourage shared parenting. If she is unwilling to continue shared parenting with you, fight for custody yourself. You have just as good a chance as she does. I don't understand why she doesn't pay you support during the six months you have your daughter, my sister is in your situation and they both pay. It's not the same amount, but they are both ordered to pay support when the other has their daughter. I do know she would have to pay support if you had custody. Best of luck.
