I am currently paying support for my son. I am looking to start a buisness and would like to know if my ex has the right to make a claim for more money against the buisness ,and is there a way to prevent such action?

Regardless of how much you struggle to begin with, you will still have to pay the same amount of support. When your business income increases it will then depend on whether you pay yourself a large salary or put the money back into the company. If your ex believes the company is making big bucks and you are not paying yourself anything, then she will be able to pursue this matter and get an evaluation done. CS will be based on what money you could be earning etc.. It gets very messy and depends on how honest you are and how agreesive your ex is.
