child support

I`m not asking if I should pay child support, but rather do I HAVE to. since the SSA and SSDI have declared me schizophrenic and both the father and myself have agreed to sign over all my rights as a parent to him and his wife, do I still have to pay child support?
also, how can they take money from someone who is disabled and only gets $520 a month? could you live off that AND pay child support? I didnt think so..

You can not just sign over rights as if the child is property. You would have to have the other people adopt or a judge strip you of your rights. Until that time you pay the CS amount that has been ordered by a court. If you can not pay, you contest it in court. But while you are ordered to, you have to pay.

seeing that this kid is in ohio and I`m in florida, i cant seem to find a lawyer who does interstate cases for child support. can anyone help me? I am in tampa, florida

If the child is in OH then you need an attorney in OH. Check out http://www.attorneypages.com
