My husband is in a court ordered rehab. for chemical dependancy for the next 9 months and can't work. What can I do about his child support? I can't afford to pay it, can it be put on "hold" while he is in rehab? What are our options? We live in Texas.

You would need to retain an attorney to act on his behalf and file for a suspension/reduction.. but, chances are it will not get far and he will still end up owing the money anyway.

Call a few attorneys on his behalf and get a few consultation.
