What is the name of your state? Georgia

I am in the process of filing for a dissolution with a minor child. My husband and I married in 2000. We were engaged for 2 years prior. I had adopted an infant prior to our relationship. We have raised her as his daughter. He never legally adopted her but has always assumed the role of her father. She is eleven now. Will the courts consider him to be her dad? Will I be able to get child support from him for her?

You adopted as a single. That means you went into the adoption process KNOWING you, alone, would be legally and financially responsible for your child. He is NOT the father of your child, only an involved step parent.

I only asked the question because I did not know if he had any legal obligations. I thought that was what this forum was about. I certainly know what my obligations are to her and if there is no requirement for him to support her, that is perfectly fine. By all means, I am not devastated that he is not required to do anything.

Thanks for the kind and courteous response.

Shouldn't OP be filing for a dissolution without children? The child is not a product of the marriage. Unless she and husband have other children she did not mention.

That is correct. If the child adopted before marriage is the ONLY child involved, then it should be a dissolution WITHOUT any children of the marriage.
