Worried in PA

I heard my Ex is going to be losing his job in less than a week. He has know for some time, but has not informed me. Meanwhile he has been spending money like crazy, I assume to make sure all bank accounts are empty so he can file bankruptcy. Isn't he supposed to keep me informed of job loss situations? and can he get away with all these expenditures and not getting a job to cover his child support obilgation?

i have never heard of a case where the NCP was responsible to keep the CP informed of his job status. although contact information - which could include job #s, yes.

the only concern you should have with his employment would be his responsibility to pay his support. he can not file bankruptcy on support that he owes you. although there are certain cases where he could possibly file bankruptcy on support that is owed to the state. not up on bankruptcy laws.
