california/florida- where would you go to court if both parents live in different states?

You would go to court in the state where the child has been a resident for the last 6 months, unless a court already has jurisdiction, then you would either go their, or if both parents have moved from that jurisdiction, you would have to file to have the current court order transferred.
Good Luck!
