I live in West Virginia, I have full custody of my 5 year old daughter. My ex-husband has moved out of state and now resides in York, PA. We have been divorced since November. He does have visition, but has not seen our daughter on his weekends. This is a holiday weekend and I have decided to allow him to spend the weekend with our daughter in his residence. I will meet him half way and drop her off to him. She is to return to me on Monday the 28th of May. I have a friend who will be in that area to pick up her son and she said she would pick up my daughter. My ex-husband refuses to release my daughter to her. My question is because I have full custody can I decide who can pick her up and does he have to release my daughter to them? This is not even his weekend to have her his weekends are the third and fifth of the month.

Have you asked him if he can drop her off?

I think he just wants to spend a little extra time with his child?

This can be worked out, just ask.

I have asked him to drop her off, but he won't. It is just a little hard for me to get there. My friend will be traveling tht same route and she was doing this to help me.

I realise that he wants to see his daughter, but it is only when it is convenient to him.
