What is the name of your state? Oregon. What does it mean when children are made wards of the court? Does it mean parental rights are terminated? What does it mean when the other parent is not considered a resource?

MY RESPONSE: It means that the children are now being cared for by the county by order of the court, and under the strict control of the court.

Does it mean parental rights are terminated?

MY RESPONSE: Yes.

What does it mean when the other parent is not considered a resource?

MY RESPONSE: That's a nice, and fancy, way of saying the other parent is unfit to be a parent - - or, it means that the other parent is in some other State - - or it means that the other parent is living in another country - - or it means that the other parent has specifically stated that they don't want the child - - and the local court will not relinquish jurisdiction.
