I live in ohio and have recently been divorced and was granted joint custody of our 3 small children. My childrens' father was granted visitaion before I knew that he had molested or attempted to molest a 3 year old girl. I contacted childrens services and they wont investigate it any further than an anitial home visit to the little girls home. This child just started learning to talk and told her mother what happened but childrens services will no longer involve themselves. Childrens services also has a report where my childrens father was accused of gross sexual imposition charges from my neice several years earlier but that case was also dropped. And two years ago while he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol he touched my oldest daughter while she slept and that was also reported to childrens services and nothing happened there eather. Theor father is suppose to have a 1 month visit with our three young children on the 15th of this month and im scared he will molest them. I was represented by an attorney through the Toledo bar association and since moving out of Toledo I no longer have an attorney and with six children I really cant afford one now. What should I do about this? any advice would be appreciated

Well, first of all I would suggest not having a 7th child...

Without the backing of CPS, an attorney or money, then there is not much you can do. Why CPS would not follow through with the reports is anyones guess.. and it will stay that way unless you can force them to hand over their records, something which they are not going to do.

Make sure you educate the children with the 'no touch' areas and about dialing 911!
