What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

Hello -

I provide health insurance for my daughter who lives with her mother in Arizona. The current court order states that I am responsible for 82% of the medical expenses not covered by insurance. We have joint custody.

Question: Can she choose to take my daughter to a provider that is not covered by my insurance or does she have to go somewhere that is covered? I ask because the dentist that is close to her home is not covered, and the nearest one that is covered is 40 miles from her house. Another option is for me to take my daughter to the dentist when she is at my residence for visitation which is a week or two around each holiday plus summer (that's my preferred option, but not sure if I can 'force' mom to let me do that).

This isn't an emergency, she just needs a couple fillings and an evaluation as to whether she needs braces. Daughter is 8 years old.

Just looking to get an idea of what I can say before I call mom. I don't want to say the wrong thing because we also have a custody dispute ongoing related to my son.

Thanks
