After having a child knock my Chrysler out of gear, without the keys in the ignition - I learned my Chrysler did not have the Interlock Safety Cable installed. Chrysler told me (via phone) that it was not required by NHTSA - but NHTSA said passenger car were required to have this safety feature. I am out $10,000. Can anyone tell me if I have a legal dispute with Chrysler?
