On Nov. 10, 2006, my son-in-law was approached at his home and was hit. When the medics got there he was not breathing. They gave him CPR and he was lifeflighted to the University Hospital where he coded again. He spent 7 days ib ICU and went through three surgeries. The man was charged with class 3 felony assualt. In April of 2008 we wnt to court and the district attorney messed up royally and the judge dismissed it. Is it too late for a civil suite and would you advise one. My son-in-law works for the railroad and was not able to go back to work until February of 07.
