I am from Ohio.

My story is a bit long, but please bear with me. I dated a girl for about 1 month. We talked for 4 months in total. We mutually agreed to take a "break". We did argue and things got heated, but nothing got past being verbal with each other. We were on some-what good terms afterwards. We still talked, texted each other, and messaged each other on-line. Actually, she is the one who initiated contact with me each time after our "break." She would call me, or she would text me or she would send me on-line messages. I wanted to just go our own ways, but she wouldn't let it happen. She would say "I'm afraid of what might happen if we don't talk." I don't know what she meant by that, but whatever. She wouldn't let it happen. So we talked for a couple days. We then decided to just call it quits all together.

The day before we decided to call it all quits, I went into work that night. Came home, and played a game of Yahoo Literati with my buddy. The next morning, (October 6th, 2007) I get a visit by the city police. The officer asks me about some nude photo of "her" and if the police station had my consent to look at my computer. Have it sent to some place called "BCI" or somewhere. I said "yeah, sure" He was interrogating me pretty hard about this nude photo of hers. Well...she did send me this nude photo. But at the time, she told me that I was the only one she sent it to and that she's never done this kind of thing before. So she lead me to believe that. Well....what I now found out, was that she has more nude photo's of herself on her computer, and that she's even emailed them out to 2 other guys in 2 different months this year....PRIOR to talking to me! So it makes me wonder if she is some kind of black widow...waiting for her next victim each month?

She has a CSPO (civil stalking protection order) against me. I went into court and just did a consent to it. Well...now I wish I hadn't. I just wanted it over with. After we saw each other on October 6th, 2007 when she called me that morning, we haven't had ANY contact WHAT SO EVER! None! So I don't understand the CSPO as far as "stalking". However, she lied to the judge and said that I was causing her mental anguish because of the photo that was put on myspace & facebook. There were 2 accounts that got created on-line on facebook & myspace. She claims that I uploaded that nude photo of her. Well, I didn't do it. I was on-line playing Yahoo Literati with my buddy that night. I don't know who created those profiles and who uploaded that picture.

As I said....I just recently found out, that she emailed more nude photo's to one guy in June 2007 and another guy in May of 2007. I also found out that the same photo that she sent me, she sent to the same guy she originally sent it to in June. So she lied when she said she never done this kind of thing before. She lied to the judge too.

I will be honest....I got into her email account without her consent. I know this doesn't exactly make me look 100% honest here, but I am not out to get even with her. I want my name cleared. I work full time and go to college. I don't want to throw any of that away. I am not willing to take any risks of the CSPO and accidentally come into contact with her and get thrown into jail. Here my my town, they WILL put you in jail if you come in contact with the protected person(s). I just want redemption in getting my name cleared of this lie and I want to contest the CSPO. Any legal advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I think I will just let this go. However, you say I need a lawyer....yesterday....I'm afraid it just won't help now? I fear that it will just cause me more trouble. Are there laws in Ohio that could get myself into trouble for finding out what I did when I accessed her email account?

*EDIT* I think I will just let this go. I failed to mention that I am already on probation. This probation was given to me on a previous charge. I don't think it will help me anyways. I just looked and I saw where my probation officer was subpoenaed and so was the same officer who came to my door that Saturday morning. The judge wouldn't believe me anyways. I shall just drop it.

OMG why did you let a cop into your home w/o a search warrant. never never let them interrogate you or give them any info w/o talking to a lawyer. if they really had anything they would have gotten a warrant. you should have just said get lost and shut the door in their face.
yes get a lawyer. but if she can't prove you uploaded a pic of her then she can't do anything. and if you truly didn't do it then there would be no way to trace it to you. if you didn't do anything wrong don't worry. it will blow over. if she sent it to you then you can do whatever you want with it. if you had stolen it then it would be different.

Stop posting you idiotic crap on other threads!! This moron was on probation...The officer didn't need a warrant!! You know nothing of the law...Slamming the door in the cops face would have gotten this guy a quick trip to jail!!

baystategirl - well....thanks for calling me a moron. But yeah...you're right. Since I'm on probation, that gives the authorities the right to search my car or home w/o a warrant.

Sorry about the moron comment...that was a bit harsh. Jennifer is annoying me with her idiotic postings...I got a bit carried away. Again I am sorry...

apology accepted :D

I could seriously use some helpful legal advice still though. I'm not sure if I should pursue this or not?

I think I will just drop this. I don't think I want to spend the $$ for an attorney for starters and secondly, I won't be living in this town anyways. I plan on moving away so I won't have to deal with the drama.
