If the offer they give me is something I can't afford will or can I file for bankruptcy ????? after the suit or should I start it now and would you advise me in getting a attorney.:confused:

You can file for bankruptcy ANY time, but I'd do it BEFORE the judgment is granted, otherwise it will be more paperwork and fees to have the judgment vacated after the bk is discharged.

Yes.. you can do BK yourself, but its best to get a lawyer, there's tons of paperwork and lots and lots of rules so doing it yourself can be risky.
