Dentist provided me with service. I was dis-satisfied with his service. My teeth continued to hurt after he was done. He was neglegant! He forgot metal case around the teeth, as I was leaving I told him that something was bolging in my mouth, at first he didn't want to help me, but I opened my mouth and he saw that then he removed it. So, that left bad taste for his service. the other thing is I called him back after few days and his secretary told me that he can't do anything else to relief pain I was having in the teeth he worked on. So, I had to go to another dentist to fix the problems I was having.

I don't recall receiving any additional bills from him,. On the other hand I feel I shouldn't really pay for his bad service.

He is now suing me for over $700 + court fees and attorney fees. I do have a last statement from him I got it during my last visit to his office for $525.

What is the best way to deal with this situation?
Thanks

My response:

You go to court on the appointed date and time, and you explain your side of the story to the judge, just like you did here. After listening to the Dentist and you, the judge will decide. That's it.
