My claim is for over $5,000.00. I am familiar with small claims court and the filing for a case. For this amount which court in the State of Florida do I go to and is there an on line help for paper work to file suit? Are their examples of filings I could follow so I use the proper wording? Are there any web sites with the proper proceedure for this type of suit.
Thanks for any input you have.

Go out an buy a book "How to win in Small Claims court in Florida". The principal is the same.

For a discussion on the Florida Court system, click on:

Also, there are several books that include sample forms for process. Some can be found at:

Also, you can go by any county law library (and most university law libraries) for research. They usually have some books (West's, etc) that include 'boilerplate-type' forms for most legal actions.

And finally, don't overlook the fact that you could arrange to discuss your case periodically with an attorney. He can give you some assistance and hints when you need them.
