What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
I live in Denton County in an apartment complex. Back in 2005,the entire complete was owned by a business; an LLP firm.
In 2005, that firm sold the individual buildings to independent people.
Within the property, there is a piece of land, that is unclaimed and has no legal owner, since the last legal owner LLP ran out of business.
I tried to speak with apt complex management, and they informed me that they have no idea who owns this land. Its a small 3000 sq feet piece.

I am in dire need to know how can i go about taking this land? Its been sitting there for 20+ years, not utilized for any purpose and no one actually owns it now.

Someone owns the property. They might just be hard to find. At the very least, the partners or their heirs own the assets of the partnership on dissolution.
