i live in fl, and just got divorced. my car is still being financed, and i have made every payment on it. my problem is the account still has my ex's name on it, and so does the registration.however, the bills for both come to me since my name is on there first. how do i get him off without refinancing the car?i have attempted to get the car refinanced, but i don't make enough money for any company to take the risk.what do i do? can i just get my ex's power of attorney, and go to motor vehicle's to get it transfered to me?

this message is for Tigres. According to the final divorce decreee, I am responsible for the account on my car. He's responsible for his bills, and I'm responsible for mine. How do I take care of getting the registration in my name?
thanks for all your help....momfrog
