What is the name of your state? FL

Hello again, I was reading through my deed restrictions again and came across the following statement and would like to know if somebody can clarify for me what it means.

"These covenants and restrictions are to run with the land, regardless of whether or not they are specifically mentioned in any deeds or conveyances subsequently, excuted and shall be binding on all parties and all persons claiming under them until January 1, 2068, at which time said covenants shall be automatically extended for successive periods of ten (10) years, unless an instrument signed by a majority of the then owners of lots has been recorded, agreeing to change, alter or rescind said covenants in whole or in part."

I am specifically interested in the bolded section.

Does this mean that I can choose not to be claimed under them?

My response:

Yes, that's what it means. Did you also know that you can all declare yourself liberated from the United States, and that your land is a separate country? You could be King BBKing!
