State: New York is where it's being filed.
There's a class-action lawsuit being filed against a certain company...
"The complaint charges defendants with violations of Sections 11, 12(a)(2) and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.".
Basically, they're saying that said company fudged with some numbers in their releases on how much they were pulling in, and omitting some bad stuff. I think.
That's why I'm here. I'm not sure how much I can say (I'm an employee who's verra afraid for his job now), but I'm wondering how this would effect the company... Does anyone else know of any precedent for such a case, and what happened?
Thanks a bunch...
