The closing has not even been given a date it has taken almost 9 months to get to this point and still no date has been given it is in New Durham New York 1 - 4 - 3 I want to know can we cancel the contract keep the deposit it appears the other side has been delaying with no legitimate reason and it seems as if our lawyer is allowing them to drag their feet we have contacted the other attorney the loan officers of the bank and also the lending agents

You are represented. Speak to your lawyer. If you don't like that lawyer, find another one.
