What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
Co-signed a $10,000 college loan for my xGF 5 years ago. I discovered she never made payments when I stated receiving notices. She kept delaying, trying to get extentions but still hasn't kept her end of the bargain. During a mediation session 6 weeks ago she agreed to start paying on the loan but when it came time for us to sign the document she walked out. I worked out a payment schedule and have been making payments for the last 5 months. She wasn't working at the time but is working F/T now. What are my options? Can I take her to small claims court? Get an attorney and sue? Thanks.
