Hell BA, it's not THAT difficult. This site uses the PHP language but all web languages (vbscript, cold fusion, asp, PHP and even javascript) can determine the IP address of the client browser.

In fact, VBScript using the WMI interface can even determine the Machine Name, internal IP address, the amount of RAM and running services on the client computer, along with several other little tidbits...

That confirms it all. I was trying to see how big of a loser JETX really was (as if I could think any less of him). The fact he saved or researched what my original post was proves it all to me.

Thank you for all the replies. From what I gather I am pretty much stuck and lesson learned. BUT if I'm willing to go the distance($14k loan) there is a slight chance of recouping something. I don't care about him, I wouldn't mind losing his friendship so to speak.
