What is the name of your state? MA

As of June 30th I will be part of a reduction of the staff here at my place of employment. I have been employed full time for 3 years, paying for medical and dental benefits. I believe I am entitled to COBRA for both medical and dental however if I start a new job at another employer on July 1st, can I pay for COBRA with the old employer until the 90 day period I must wait before becoming eligible for benefits with the new employer ?

Thank you for your comments.

Absolutely you can. That's one of the situations COBRA was signed into law to cover.
