My ex husband went down to meet his brother; (Executor); to talk about their late mother's estate.

Executor brother has borrowed funds from the estate as well as loaned "a little bit" to younger brother. Now, Executor brother says that he will not loan any more UNLESS younger brother agrees to sign a statement saying that $40 some thousand -- that was put into their mother's house in NC; (second home - vacation home, after a hurricane hit); was personal loans by Mother to younger son. AND, that "Executor brother" will recieve the total assets of the NC home and property.

This $40 some thousand WAS put into restoring the home after the hurricane hit and "Mom" dealt much of the time in cash. Younger son stayed with "Mom" and took care of her for the last 6-8 months of her life. (Had to give up his business to take care of her.) This money was not loans. She would write a check for younger son to get cash to pay contractors, workers, etc. as such. None of these checks had "loan" to younger son's name on them.

I feel this is coersion by Executor brother. Isn't this against the law and punishable by the laws of the probabe courts?? Thank you.
