A neighbor's stone wall collasped onto my property. Who is responsible for cleaning up the mess?

If the wall is not replaced, the dirt from the other property will continue to errode onto my property creating a mess every time it rains. Do I have a legal right to force my neighbor to replace his wall?

Can I demand a wall be repaired that is in danger of falling onto my property?

This property is located in New York State.

Thanks for any consel.

Sincerely,

Lou Makrinos
