I participated in an art show in June and sold a woman $205 worth of merchandise. The check bounced, and I have been leaving her messages ever since. On 2 occasions she's apologized & said she was sending a money order the next day, which I have never seen. Is there anything I can do in addition to small claims? Should I report her to the police for passing bad checks? I live in Ohio and she lives in Kentucky... the art show was in Kentucky also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's illegal to pass a bad check. I'd say 3 months is plenty of time to make it good. I'd call and tell her she has a week to pay or, you are going to swear out a warrant.
