I need help figuring out which step (form) is next and how to fill them out. I won a judgement and the debtor refuses to pay. I do not know where he banks. I sued the business he works at for his son. Do I file for wage garnishment or citation to discover assets? Are there any books that I can get to help with the forms. I am in Indiana but the court is in Illinois.

My response:

Try Amazon.com to find a book on Collecting Judgments and Debts using Illinois law - - unless, of course, you want to drive to Illinois and go to a large bookstore in-person.

Good luck.

One thing you need to be aware of....
Your post says the judgment was issued by a court in Illinois, are you trying to collect it in Illinois or Indiana?? If Illinois, you should be able to use that states legal procedures to enforce the judgment. However, if you are trying to apply the judgment in Indiana, you will need to have your case 'domesticated' into the Indiana courts.
