Ok is our state. My husband got a call from a collection agency last night. They say he owes a bill that was made in 1993 and that it was paid on until 1998 and then we quit payments. They say $4300. is still owed. We don't know what they are talking about. They won't give us any information on the bill ( what it is ). They say pay up or he is getting a court summons. Maybe someone else has used his name. We just don't know. We have both racked our brains. We need to know what the law is on these matters. We will be very grateful for any information on this situation.
