I have been attending a university here in Florida for several years now. I study online so I handle everything over the phone or internet. In June of 2008 I was enrolled into classes and had to drop out. I was left stranded in an apt with my two children, with no car no money and an eviction notice in my hands. I had talked to my academic advisor to inform him of the situation and since I had already logged on 6-7 times they "couldn't do anything about it". By me not attending my classes online, because I had no access to them, I have been left with a bill of $4445. The reason they gave me was that I was left responsible for the remaining costs because my stafford loan was taken away for not attending. After almost $19k in tuition so far, and being enrolled with them, I would think that they would at least do their part. I have had the run around non-stop with this school, from all of the lies and being involuntarily enrolled last term, I just want to end the relationship and how to be able to transfer as many credits as I can. I shouldn't have to pay for something I did not receive, please help me. There must be something I can do.

I shouldn't have to pay for something I did not receive,
The problem with the statement is the something was available to you and you did not use it. Big difference. You also pay for other things whether you use them or not, telephone, cable tv, internet, etc. It was not the school's fault you did not "receive" what you are being billed for.

There must be something I can do.
Pay your bill.
