What is the name of your state? New jersey

I fell 3 mos. behind on my assoc. dues. I sent full payment which was posted by assoc. on 4/13. On 4/15 Lawyer for assoc. sent me collection letter which I received on 4/18. I informed them I paid debt. They now want $65 collection fee and $5.20 printing cost. Can they do this since I did not get notified till after I paid?

If your convenants and restrictions say that they can recover collection fees and printing costs (huh ?), then they are probably within their rights. In most cases, like credit cards, unless the additional fees are in the original agreement/contract, then they cannot make you pay them.
