What is the name of your state? PA
My bankruptcy was dismissed in late May, but all of a sudden since the dismissal i have been receiveing collection attempts from old debts. I was under the understanding and i may be wrong all credit card debts would be cleared on a chapter 7. Is there a way for me to find out what was and what wasn't covered in my bankruptcy? I understand student loans and taxes and etc aren't but i had none of these. All the collections are from very old debts. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Your bankruptcy documents will contain the names and addresses of all the creditors you listed in your bankruptcy. Your attorney should have given you a copy of all your paperwork. If you can't find it, it is a public record and can be obtained from the bankruptcy court, perhaps even online.

In some bankruptcy districts, a discharge covers all creditors -- even those not listed in the matrix (obviously not tax liens or education loans). Other districts require the creditor to be listed to be discharged.
