I have been late on some of my car payments. Finance Co.
is threatening to demand full balance due within 20 days
because of being late. I have never been more than one car pymt. behind. Can they do this?

Their rights and yours depend on the wording of your contract with them. If the contract gives them the right to do that under the circumstances, then it is legal. From what you say, what they are planning would be legal under most financing arrangements.
