OHIO-Moved into husband's family home in February (owned since 1955)Started rehab'ing interior of home in March 2001 with intentions of doing exterior necessaries next summer. We are on limited budget and doing all work ourselves, planning from month to month on upcoming projects. Just received 30 day notice from county to make following corrections: install new layer of roofing due to deterioration of present roofing (it's a tin roof which does need painted but has absolutely no leaks!, 130 year old victorian home), replace gutters, scrape and paint exterior. We can't afford to have all this done within 30 days. What are our options,if any, how long is a typical extension from the county, and what resources for assistance are available for 2 full time college students working parttime? We would like to keep costs down and do the work ourselves, but need time and budgeting! What happens to us if we can't meet the county's demands? Answers to any of these questions are most helpful. Thanks

Thanks, HomeGuru. I plan on calling them Monday. Anyone else out there who's been through this? If so, what was the outcome?
