My pay is based on commission only for sales I complete in the previous month. My employer will deduct any commission earned for all clients whose account is 120 past due in payment. Even when the customer brings their account balance current, my commission is not returned to me. Once deducted, I never get it back. In some months, I have had a 20%-25% payroll deduction. Is this right? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

The law does not regulate commission agreements to the extent you are looking for. Accordingly, I know of no law that would prohibit such a clause in the agreement.
