wisconsin. i was given the commitment for title insurance at my closing on a commercial piece of propety. it was done on may 22 1998 at 8 am. yet the seller sold said property to his corporation on may 22 1998 at 3:15 pm. the title commitment show's his corporation as owner of said property some 7 hour before deed was recorded in deeds office. is this legal? also found out that a previouse owner had assingned his intrest in this property to a bank but said bank has never recorded any satisfaction of this assignment. shouldn't this have also showed up on the title commitment?
