We married in 2000 in calif. Seperated in oct of 2003, filed for divorce in jan 2004, at that time we nothing much to divide. He wanted nothing but his personal stuff. We got back together in may 2004 (divorce was still pending). We moved to pa and we were together until jan 2006. He again left and wanted only his personal belongings. He promised me he was give me 100.00 a week for support.In march of 2005 a mobile home was purchased with money i recieved from social security. He has not sent me any money and has said he isnt going to so i filed for spousal support here in pa. He is pissed--now all of a sudden he says if i sell the mobile home he wants half the money(we own the mobile only--not the property). He does have an attorney in calif. but as far as i know they are not pursing anything to do with the community prop. It is marital property as it was purchased during the marriage and with marital property any equity that accrues during the marriage is half his. However a mobile home normally doesn't accrue equity. It loses value. It would be awarded as an asset like a car. So be prepared for the property division to give you the mobile home and him something of equal value or you to get more of the debt.

You have not been together as a couple for more than a total of maybe three years!

YES WE HAVE BEEN TO TOGETHER FOR 18 YEARS BUT MARRIED IN 2000 SEPERATED IN OCT OF 2003 THEN BACK TOGETHER FROM APRIL OF 2004 UNTIL JAN OF 2006......
AND NO I DONT HAVE A CHAIN SAW...DO U ???
