A few months ago I asked in this forum, can you receive unemployment when locked out by your employer? answer is YES. Now, I want to know how long does it take for ULP charges to run its course, we have 8 charges that are, "pending disposition"? We are also trying to get a 10 (j) injunction through the NLRB, we hope that the judge will force the company to put us back to work, and "make us whole". RTB locked us out Feb 1st. Any idea how long it takes for the NLRB to rule? We are ILWU Local z. How much backing can the international give us? Can other ILWU local's leagly refuse to handle "scab" product? Scabs are doing my job! Another ILWU local is loading this product into ships at the ports of Long Beach.

You need to ask your union these questions. That is why you paid union dues.

What should i expect for "free advice", a rubber biscut? I have asked my union, just wondering if anyone has other thoughts. OH, fyi, when a union member is locked out, they do not pay union dues.

You want guesses from a bunch of strangers on the internet when the only folks that can give you the correct answers is your union? Our crystal ball has been hijacked by another forum, we hope to get it back soon. Oh, and FYI, I have been a union member for over 30 years and have been through 5 labor disputes. And you you please kindly notice is said "paid", not pay. I know you are not paying dues now.
