YOUR STATE NAME - New York

I am supposed to receive court ordered child support from my ex. A few months ago the state decided to garner his wages and since then I have received very little money. It turns out that his company is taking the money out of his paycheck and then not sending it to the state. I have since closed the case with the state because I don't feel that it is necessary to garner his wages and I depend on this money. The case went to court but his company had started paying and I thought we were going to be ok so I withdrew the case but since then they have stopped again. They are currently 2 support checks behind, 2 and a half weeks have passed since they took the money from him and 5 days since they took the last one. I tried to contact the company because my ex obviously could care less, he has paid the support so they won't do much to him, but his company said I had no right to access the information because the support was not court ordered, but I do have a court order to receive $350 every other week. Is there anything I can do or am I to just sit here and wait until the money arrives? This has caused a great financial strain, I am unable to pay bills and am getting bad marks on my credit and I have drained my savings and if I don't receive money in the next two weeks I am looking at being evicted, having my own check being garnered and the utilities are threatening to disconnect. Please help!
