What is the name of your state? FL

Hello to everyone:

My wife works for a rather large company that currently operates in 50 states. The CEO and the company have been accused of violating federal securities laws by issuing false financial statements. I saw on various web sites class action lawsuits for stockholders. My wife had shares not to long ago that where trading at 16.00 per share and now are pennies. The government has filed a civil lawsuit accusing the company of overstating earnings by 1.4 billion since 1999. I am not sure if there are going to file bankruptcy and I am sure that effects everything. My question is does my wife have a realistic chance of recovering anything?

Thanks,
Al

Yeah she might get something.........

But the truth is she could have sold the stock at 15 10 9 8 7 6 54321.....

So mostly its her bad investment decesions that are at fault.

This is why so many people got hurt in the last few years, I would never put more then 1/4 of my money in the company stock,

Also i would sense, that she was not a very observant type. I mean if the company is going gangbusters, then did she get gangbuster raises?

Did the office get new furniture, new computers, you know spread the profits???

I fully believe Enron was a pretty unique case, since employees were making gobs of money, and had no clue it was a sham.

Most employees can sense nothing is getting repaired quickly, the coffee is not free anymore, raises were minimal, yet the company earned record profits. All clues something is not right.
