What is the name of your state? fl

California Company exec telephones ex-exec and says to stop the TV ad that mentions that ex-exec was formerly an exec of company - the ad is only stating a fact in resume` terms, nothing more.

Does the company have any basis to stop ex-exec from playing TV ad?

**A: was there any agrement in writing stating that such "company affiliation" in marketing and advertising is prohibited?

No. There was no agreement in writing

No. There was no agreement in writing to prohibit any company affiliation.

Was the exec making the phone call bluffing? The company is one of the largest in the country, so wouldn't the company, if they were serious, have had a legal letter quoting a legal basis if this were serious?

Thanks.
