I live in St. Louis Missouri. One day while on my way to school I was rear ended. Myself and the driver of the other vehicle pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway. I got out of the car, called 911 and then went to talk to the other driver. Just then, a gas tanker hit both of us on the shoulder out of our cars. I have the police reports that say I am at no fault. I had emergency room medical bills, physical therapy for 3 weeks, and missed time for school/work. I was knocked unconscious at the scene and wounded to the point I couldn't walk for 3 days. No one has given me any estimated amount of money I will be receiving. I need to know this so I will be able to get a loan for an appropriate amount to replace my car. Does anyone have an estimated amount that someone who has been hit by a gas tanker as a pedestrian would receive? Low figures please. I want to get a realistic idea of what I can expect. Thank you in advance. And yes, I do have representation, but they won't give me any figures.
