What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I own a short run cd duplication business. Recently I have had inquires from people that were getting married. They have made compilation cds of their favorite songs and they want to know if I can duplicate a hundred or so copies for them to give out at their wedding as gifts. I need to know if I make the duplications am I violating copyright laws. I assume they are safe to make the recording under the home recording act, and since they would be paying me only for my service no money would be made from any sales of the music. Seems a grey area to me. I haven't done any yet and will not if it is a violation. Please help.

It is not a gray area, it is a violation of federal copyright laws. Even if given away free, the CD's would be in violation.
