What is the name of your state? Ga

I was recently served with a summons of judgement and have 30 days to respond. i'm seeking advice about the statute of limitation on credit card debt. when does the statute actually begin and can paying someone other than the original creditor restart the time.

SOL begins on the date of last activity. Activity being either a charge or payment. In Georgia the SOL for credit cards (Open Accounts) is 4 years. If it is passed on to a CA and you then make a payment that DOES restart the SOL.
