I have agreed to submit a letter to the court on behalf of an individual who is being sued in small claims court. They are going to countersue and have a very strong case. Does anyone know of any resources I may reference to help me compose this letter? Thank you in advance for your help. :)

Yep. Your letter will be worthless. Courts don't like to see written statements that can't be 'judged by their statements'... or that the other party can't question. If you really want to help this person, show up in court and present your statement(s).
