What is the name of your state? Illinois

My mother had bought a computer about 5 years ago as a christmas present to the family. Although recently shes gotten biligerant and wants to take it out of the house for herself. Now over these past 5 years, Ive replaced plenty of parts with my own money, and the computer is registered under my name. She claims that the receipt alone is enough to claim it, but what about possession being 9/10's of the law?

Remove all the parts and give it back. 5 year old computers are worth very little. I have a couple I would gladly give away, both work just fine. Or offer to buy it for it's current value, maybe $50?

Is there a statute that actually states that?
Ummm, no.
