My 16 year old son from Pennsylvania was given his 19 year old brothers college roommates instant messenger user id to contact him while he was away at a Pennsylvania college.
One night the 16 yr old thought he would play what he thought was a practical joke on his roommate & his brother by chating to them under an assumed name,using obsense language and mentioning obscene sex act (trash talking) toward, them trying to scare them. The next day when the older brother found out it was his 16 yr old brother who had sent the obscene messages to them he e-mailed him and said that while he thought it was funny his roommate didn't and not to do it no more & to lay low.
The roommate somehow was able to retrive & copy the e-mail that was sent by the older brother to his younger brother implicating him & now is in non direct way threating a loss suite. Does he have good ground to sue an if so would he be suing my 19 yr old, my 16 yr old or me.
